Exciting Stuff In The Pipeline

Firstly, a couple of big name - sorry, BIG NAME - remixes due to appear soon: my John Disco ‘Reversion’ of the Franz Ferdinand tune “No You Girls”, and the Linus Loves remix of Britney Spears‘ “Circus”.
Been working on some happening new stuff over the last few months. First off, the best looking band in Glasgow, Fangs have their debut single, “S.I.C.K.O”, due for release very soon on the King Tuts Recordings label. They kindly asked me to take up the producer’s chair and the results have been mighty pleasing to everyone involved. And what’s more, they’ve asked me to do a “S.I.C.K.O” remix for the single too! Hot stuff.
My first ’solo’ record, as John Hospital (a sideline to Dirty Hospital), is set to come out within the next couple of months. It’s called “Truant” and it’s a four-tracker on the happening new Glasgow based label Pest Control. It’s in the techno/electro stylee, with heavy doses of ‘83 Electro and Italo Disco. The label recently launched with the brilliant new EP by Tokyo Knife Attack.
Also been in the studio as engineer/producer with Stevie Reverb a.k.a Stevie Jackson of Belle & Sebastian. He’s recently been doing gigs with his band The Reverberations, as well as appearing in the recently reformed Vaselines.
While the Amphetameanies haven’t been making high quality music videos, we’ve been busy writing the next album. The aim this time is to take less than six or seven years to follow up the previous one. Wish us luck everyone! In case you didn’t manage to get your copy of the “Goodbye Boyfriend EP”, GET ONE NOW!
